Hi, I’m Catherine Faughnan—a food and product photographer with a passion rooted in storytelling and a lifelong love for the art of the image. My journey began in high school with a Canon AE-1 in hand, where I took first place in the school art show and discovered the creative power of photography. That early spark led me to study communications and journalism in college, where I continued to hone my craft through photography classes and by capturing campus life as the school newspaper’s photographer.

Though my professional career took me into marketing, my camera was never far from reach—documenting family, travels, and everyday moments with the same passion that first drew me to photography. I was honored to be a finalist in Photography Forum Magazine in the 1990s, local camera club member and some other regional contest winning moments that reminded me that this was more than a hobby—it was part of who I am.

Now, I’ve come full circle. I’m currently pursuing a master’s in photography at my local community college and building a small business to help others enhance their media through vibrant, thoughtful, and professional imagery.
